Overview of the rock art of the Coso Range; dating techniques, recording (drawing them); ceremonial theories, etc. Interviews with rock art experts. Outstanding and award winning!. Museum Publications and Other Books:

The Petroglyphs in Lower (Little Petroglyph) and Upper Renegade Canyon, Sheep Canyon, and Big Petroglyph Canyon, among others in the Coso Mountains are world famous for the style, quantity, and quality of the images. The Archaeology of Ayers Rock (CA-INY-134) California, by David S. and Tamara K. Whitley and Joseph M.
