“Nocturnes is my most recent body of work that continues my ongoing dialog with the landscape. To me there is something fascinating about the dark: still, serene and overwhelmingly peaceful. At night, familiar places can look very different. As a result, perceptions change giving me a heighten appreciation for these places.
Employing long exposures, these images were created using ambient moon light and light painting techniques with an LED flashlight from multiple angles to create the effects I envisioned.”
