“My pieces are contemporary still lifes and landscapes that share a surreal character. Each piece starts with photography set ups in the studio and then an archival ink jet print is made that is mounted on panel. The print is then painted with acrylic and or oil paint and encaustic wax is applied to give the pieces a dream-like feel.
I am interested in printmaking, painting, photography, and encaustic and often combine these mediums. Usually my work is a collage of a variety of materials.”
