Hints for Viewing Panorama Shots

These 360-degree panoramas represent a stitching together of 5 separate fisheye lens views-four on the horizontal axis and one shot straight up looking at the ceiling. Mark Pahuta does all this with his digital cameras, special tripod, and miracle computer skills.

When you click on any of them, the whole file actually downloads to your computer - it can take some time if you're not on cable or DSL!! That's one reason we give you the file size. Be patient, you on dial-up connections!

The movies are to be viewed with Quicktime. If you don't have a fairly current version, you may want to download one. It's free! see http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download
The most current version for Macs is 7.1for OSX and 6.0.3 for OS8-9.2. For Windows it's 6.4

PC's using Windows have options of several buttons on the mouse; most Macs have just one button, so Quicktime has other options to use. You'll just have to play around to see what works best, but here are some hints:

To move the view:
PC - left-click and hold the button to move the cursur around on the movie - move it to the edge to move around the room.
Mac - hold down the mouse button and move the cursor around on the movie - move it to the edge of the frame and the target will turn into an arrow and you can move even faster! Try moving up and down within the room image.

To Zoom:
PC's and Macs - zoom in using the shift key. Zoom out using the control key. You may use the + and - buttons if they're there.

Hot Spots: (to enlarge the art object)
PC's - when the cursor becomes a vertical arrow, left-click and you'll get an enlarged version of the artwork.
Macs - click on the hot spot to make it larger. The ? mark will show you hot spots.

From enlarged photos, to return to the Panorama:
PC's use the "refresh" button, or use the left-most |< button if present.
Macs - use the left-most button |<.

To get back to the Maturango Home Page:
Use your "back" button.
