The Maturango Museum collects to both preserve for future generations and exhibit. While we are committed to regular displays from our collections, like most museums we cannot display more than a fraction of our collection at any one time. No donations of items will be accepted if the donor has conditions pertaining to their use.

The mission of the Maturango Museum is to preserve, interpret, and develop an appreciation for the natural and cultural history of the Northern Mojave Desert through research and education in the natural and physical sciences, and to promote the arts.
