Our Animal Neighbors in the Mountains
Through story books and action songs, helped along by docents, puppets and imagination, there will be “visits” by chipmunks, raccoons, bobcats, bears and even a few skunks! A salamander may slip in there, too. One of the stories, “The Blackberry Banquet” by local author Terry Pierce, is sure to be enjoyed by all! The children are always excited to see taxidermied animals up close on the Discovery Table and a craft activity will finish the hour!
