Travel Presentation: Peru’s Upper Amazon

Alice and Ken Atwood will present a talk on their trip to the Upper Amazon. In February 2025 they explored the 2 major rivers, Marañon and Ucayali, that make up the Amazon River confluence. The Pacaya-Samiria Preserve is a National Park comprised of over 5 million acres. It is a biodiverse rain forest that is home to a wide variety of animals and plants. The presentation will include phots of some of the animals including Pink Dolphin, Saki Monkey and Pigmy Marmoset.
