Children’s Hour: Nocturnal Animals Friday, October 11, 10:30 to 11:30 am
The Docent Story Group is excited about introducing young children and older siblings to some of the night critters awake and active when it is dark outside. Are there many desert and mountain animals who mostly sleep in the daytime and then are very busy at night? What might be some reasons for that? The children will learn and be entertained through slides, stories, action songs and a craft. Curiosity and questions are always encouraged at the Discovery Table’ exhibits from the Docent’s Collection.
The Children’s Hour is a free monthly program presented September through May. The next Children’s Hour will be on Flex Friday November 8, 2024. The theme will be “the Desert We Live In – The Land, the Animals, the Plants”.
Flyers of the fall schedule will be available for pick-up at each of the programs.
